1. First, we strip the old grass from the property to make room for the sod. Sod has to be applied over bare soil.
2. We rake the soil and water it to prepare it for the sod.
3. We lay the first roll of sod along a hardscape feature on your property (e.g., garden, sidewalk, driveway) to ensure that it is in a straight line. We then roll out the turf.
4. Our team adds and unrolls more sod, keeping it tight with other strips of unrolled sod. If need be, we will cut off any uneven edges to ensure the sod fits the shape of your lawn.
5. After all of the sod is unrolled, one of our staff will level the lawn with a lawn roller. Levelling the yard will remove air pockets and ensure the sod has good contact with the soil.
